You Are Here: FAQ
Q: Nothing happens when I put the CD into my computer (PC).
A: The first thing is to make sure that you have found the disk on your computer, so that you can open it and open the files it contains. Go to 'My Computer'. You should see the Rainbow Disk in the list that appears. Click on this to open the disk, then double click on the file that has the name of your book followed by ‘.pdf’.
Q: The sound files on my African Drumming Workshop disk are not working when I click on them.
A: The sound files are in mp3 format. If your computer has problems playing the sound files, this may be due to the software that you use to play .mp3 files. On a Mac, it works best if you use iTunes, and on a PC if you use Windows Media Player. On a PC, you need to set the playback software as a file association under the 'folder options' tab of the control panel.
Q: The video files on my African Drumming Workshop disk are not working when I click on them.
A: The videos are mp4 files. There are various players that will play mp4 files but one of the best and easiest to deal with is VLC. You can download this free at www.afterdawn.com/guides/archive/how_to_play_mp4_files.cfm
