Making A Purchase and Credit Card Security
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store and add items that you wish to buy to your shopping cart. When you have finished shopping, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details to complete the order. You will then be taken to the highly secure HSBC Payment Gateway to give your card details via their Secure ePayments system. Note that this means that we never see your card details; the transaction takes place between HSBC and your bank only.
We accept Visa and Mastercard credit card payment, and debit cards (Switch/Maestro). If you are shopping from North America or anywhere outside the UK, place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction to US Dollars or your own currency. There is a handy currency converter on our site (see left hand bar).
If you prefer to pay by phone, please call us and we can take your details. Please call us if you would like to pay by cheque. Contact us.
When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice.
Shipping And Handling
Providing we have the goods in stock we aim to send out orders within at least 72 hours except where a public holiday falls within this period. Usually our orders are despatched on the same or the next day, and we take pride in our speedy service.
It is the customer's responsibility to ensure correct delivery details are supplied at the time of purchase, as we cannot be liable for non-delivery of shipments due to incorrect delivery details being supplied to us. Should shipments be returned to us because of delivery failure, we reserve the right to charge the customer for re-shipment of the goods.
The cost of delivery is as follows:

Special items attract a 'Delivery Surcharge' to cover their additional weight and consequently higher postage charges. This is detailed on the relevant product page and during Checkout.
Delivery Schedule
You are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of your order. Delivery shall only be made to the delivery address supplied by you at the time of ordering.
UK deliveries will be made via Royal Mail First Class Post, overseas deliveries by Royal Mail First Class Post and Airmail.
Our disks are sent out in secure packaging. Rainbow Disks does not take responsibility for goods that are damaged or broken in transit by Royal Mail First Class Post or for the product not being to the customers exact liking. We also do not take responsibility for products becoming sub-standard due to package tampering or delivery confusion.
Privacy Policy
Rainbow Disks does not disclose buyers' information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfilment. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.
Cookies are used on this shopping site to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart, to store delivery addresses if the address book is used and to store your details if you select the 'Remember Me' Option. They are also used after you have logged on as part of that process. You can turn off cookies within your browser by going to 'Tools | Internet Options | Privacy' and selecting to block cookies. If you turn off cookies, you will be unable to place orders or benefit from the other features that use cookies.
Returns Policy
Rainbow Disks wants you to be totally satisfied with your goods and are happy to accept returns in their original packing within 7 days of receipt. Please use the 'Returns Request' form from within your Customer Account to request a returns number before sending anything back. Details of what to do will then be emailed to you. Your username and password for your Customer Account will have been emailed to you when you made your first purchase; it is contained within your 'Order Confirmation' email. Products that have been opened/used will only be refunded if they have a manufacturing defect. Credit card refunds can only be credited to the original card with which the goods were bought.
Refunds due will be for merchandise only. Shipping costs and import duties will not be refunded, and return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive.
